Use more of your own solar power

Battery storage can shift excess daytime solar into the evening, while the right inverter keeps energy moving safely through your system. We assess your existing equipment, usage and goals before recommending an upgrade.

  • New and existing solar systems assessed
  • Battery capacity matched to your usage
  • Inverter compatibility checked
  • Monitoring and operating guidance included

Plan storage around your household

The best battery is not always the biggest one. We look at when you use electricity, how much excess solar you export and whether backup power is important before discussing suitable options.

Your questions answered

// Frequently Asked Questions

In many cases, yes. We first check your inverter, switchboard, available installation space and current solar production to determine the most practical battery setup.

Battery size should reflect your excess solar generation, evening energy use, budget and backup requirements. Reviewing your electricity data helps avoid choosing a battery that is too large or too small.

Only systems designed and installed with backup capability can supply selected circuits during an outage. Backup coverage depends on the battery, inverter, switchboard configuration and the loads you want to run.

Warning lights, recurring faults, monitoring dropouts or reduced solar production can indicate an inverter problem. An inspection can determine whether repair, reconfiguration or replacement is appropriate.

A hybrid inverter can manage both solar panels and compatible battery storage. It may simplify a new solar-and-battery installation, but the right choice depends on your property and future energy plans.

Battery incentives and eligibility rules vary by state or territory and can change. We recommend checking the current programs for your location when you request a quote rather than relying on an older advertised rebate amount.
